Where official sources differ

Three conflicts

  • The filing window

"Within 3 days in advance, including the arrival date", "up to 72 hours" and "3 days in advance" all appear on official pages. Our advice works around this by starting three days out and accepting that the form has the final word.

  • Editing a passport number

The FAQ says you can't. The user guide leaves it off its locked list, and May 2025 release notes say editing was enabled. We tell you to submit a new card if it's wrong.

  • Exceptions

The FAQ exempts crew but doesn't mention Border Passes. Embassy pages exempt Border Passes and, in one case, say exceptions apply only to that and to no-immigration transit. We show both.

What we couldn't confirm

Open questions

  • Which dates the form accepts

The form sits behind a human-verification check, which we didn't try to bypass.

  • Penalties for arriving without a card

We found no official statement of a specific penalty.

  • Dual nationals

We found no official guidance on those holding Thai and another nationality.

  • Countries that trigger extra health questions

The guide says the Ministry of Public Health keeps a list, but doesn't publish it in the TDAC manual.

  • Why someone gets manual processing

The guide doesn't give the criteria.

  • Exact field labels

Our checklist relies on official text and release notes, not the live form. Portal version when checked: 2026.10.00, released 15 October 2026.
